Celebrate the Life of an Officer Lost Too Soon

Join us for the 3rd Annual Brendan Arlington Memorial Golf Tournament on October 12, 2024. A celebration of a life lost too soon to suicide, this golf tournament will sound the alarm to raise awareness of mental health in the first responder community.

Each and every day, countless first responders answer the call for help, oftentimes enduring wounds that time cannot seem to heal. Throughout ones career as a first responder, repeated exposure to trauma is likely. Left unchecked, the results can be damaging, and even deadly. Year after year, more first responders die by their own hand than line of duty deaths. Largo Police Department Officer, Brendan Arlington lost his life to suicide on January 21, 2021.

The day will begin with a shotgun start 4 person scramble at 8:00 am. A total of 36 teams will play for the win on 18 holes, followed by a lunch at 2:00, with raffle prizes announced before the end of the day. Every participant will receive a special appreciation bag, filled with goodies to remember the day.

The impact of your participation will be felt far and wide, as proceeds will be donated to Survive First. Survive First’s mission is to reduce first responder suicide through quality education, peer support, and mental health and wellness resources, while fostering a greater sense of community and awareness amongst first responders and their supporters. The funds raised by this event will save countless lives.
