Florida’s fourth PCIS for command-level staff was an inspiring success, thanks to the incredible collaboration of peers, clinicians, speakers, and FDLE administrators. This dedicated team worked together to provide command-level leaders with valuable tools to support resilience and mental health.
Our team was, once again, truly honored to be there, delivering an impactful presentation and sparking meaningful conversations about the importance of mental wellness and relationships. The impact of this week’s PCIS was profound, with healing and connection filling the room as first responders and leaders shared their stories and found support.
These seminars are a vital resource for those who bear the immense responsibility of leadership in the first responder community. By equipping command staff with tools to foster resilience within their teams, PCIS strengthens the foundation of mental health support in agencies across the state. The trust and openness cultivated in these settings serve as a reminder that no one is alone in their struggles, and there is always a path toward healing and growth.
Survive First is deeply grateful to be a part of these events, working alongside others who are equally passionate about creating positive change. Together, we continue to empower first responders and their leaders to prioritize mental health, break down stigma, and build stronger, more resilient communities.
