May is National First Responder Month

May is National First Responder Month; a time to recognize and honor the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving others.
From law enforcement officers and firefighters to dispatchers, paramedics, EMTs, correctional officers, and all emergency personnel, first responders show up every day during some of life’s most difficult moments. Their commitment, sacrifice, and resilience often go unseen, but their impact is felt in communities everywhere.
Throughout this month, we encourage everyone to take a moment to thank the first responders in their lives and help raise awareness about the importance of mental health, wellness, and peer support within the profession.
To all first responders: thank you for your service, your strength, and the countless sacrifices you make for others. We are grateful for you not only this month, but every day.
